Heaptalk, Jakarta — Everywhere.id, a streaming entertainment platform formerly GoPlay, organized a virtual concert titled Maliq Everywhere simultaneously in more than four cities in Indonesia in collaboration with BCA and Maliq D’Essentials.

Hundreds of Maliq & D’Essentials fans watched the virtual concert in over 40 cafes, restaurants, and venues. In line with the title of Maliq & D’Essentials’ new album, ‘Can Machines Fall in Love?’, the virtual concert connected hundreds of fans, allowing them to interact and sing together in real time via live streaming through Play Everywhere technology.

Moreover, this innovative approach not only brought the music to the fans but also significantly boosted sales transactions in participating cafes, restaurants, and venues by up to 70%. This economic impact, primarily from snack and beverage sales, underscores Everywhere.id’s vision to revolutionize the Indonesian entertainment industry as the first provider of interactive live streaming entertainment that can increase visitor consumption in cafes and restaurants.

Through the album launch and anniversary celebration, Maliq & D’Essentials showcased their unwavering commitment to supporting and adapting to digital innovation. They implemented a new approach to interacting and connecting with their fan base while consistently producing high-quality music.

Delivering economic impact on hospitality industry

“We are very excited to launch our new album in a new and different way through the Maliq Everywhere experience, for the first time via a machine, in line with the title of our new album. This virtual concert is a testament that machines can indeed convey emotions to the audience despite the distance. We hope the spirit of our new album can unite with the spirit of Everywhere.id and BCA to promote the entertainment industry through technology,” stated Angga Puradiredja, vocalist of Maliq & D’Essentials.

According to Edy Sulistyo, Chief Everywhere Officer of Everywhere.id, this virtual concert exhibits the potential positive contribution of Play Everywhere to spending levels in cafes and restaurants, which certainly has an economic impact on the hospitality industry. He said, “Our highest appreciation goes to Maliq & D’Essentials and BCA for trusting us to bring new innovations to the entertainment world through Play Everywhere, and of course, we look forward to collaborating again in future virtual concerts and engaging more partners.”

Meanwhile, I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya, Executive Vice President of Transaction Banking Business Development BCA, stated that this concert not only provides a new experience in enjoying entertainment but also contributes to the partners’ business through digital transactions during the concert, primarily through the convenience provided by myBCA. “Digital innovations like this virtual concert continue to inspire us to drive digital renewal in various business lines.
