Heaptalk, Jakarta — Citi Indonesia announced the appointment of Wit Oemar as Head of Corporate Banking, effective March 5, 2025. He will report to K. Balasubramanian, Head of Corporate Banking at Citi Asia South and Batara Sianturi, Chief Country Officer of Citi Indonesia.
In this role, Wit will oversee the company’s corporate banking business in Indonesia and lead strategic initiatives to strengthen client relationships with local corporations, financial institutions, the public sector, and multinational clients.

Under Wit’s leadership, we will continue to focus on driving business performance and strengthening our presence in Indonesia, including enhancing the synergies with Citi’s other businesses to deliver our full product suite to corporate banking clients,” said K. Balasubramanian.

Balasubramanian, Batara Sianturi is optimistic that Wit Oemar will strengthen our corporate banking business in Indonesia with his extensive experience across Citi’s banking businesses. Batara said, “He is a strategic leader with a proven track record, and his leadership will further our vision to be the preeminent banking partner for institutions with cross-border needs.”
Citi’s Corporate and Investment Banking business in Indonesia services local corporations, multinationals, financial institutions, and public sector clients. In 2024, Citi Indonesia participated in several notable transactions in Indonesia. We acted as Sole Coordinating Bank and successfully closed syndicated revolving credit facilities totaling US$200 million and Rp7.5 trillion for PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk. Citi Indonesia and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia also announced a Sustainable Supply Chain Finance deal to support both companies’ sustainability agenda.
