Heaptalk, Jakarta — At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, BMW Motorrad launched three new motorcycles on Thursday (02/13).

“We have three models that are being launched publicly, namely the high-performance R1300 GS Adventure, the classic model R 12 S, and finally, the launch of the S1000RR,” said Josep Amarinto Setiawan, Head of Product and Sales BMW Motorrad Indonesia.

The advantage, Josep said, is that BMW Motorrad motorcycles have technology support that allows riders to shift gears without pressing the clutch. The gear-shifting process with this technology is claimed to be faster and more precise. Here are the three motorcycles launched at IIMS 2025:

The R1300 GS Adventure weighs 269 kilograms and has a seat height of 820/850 millimeters. Its 1,300 cc 2-cylinder boxer engine can produce up to 145 HP at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The R1300 GS Adventure is priced at Rp1,435,000,000

  1. R 12 S

The R 12 S is inspired by the classic R90S racing motorcycle from the 1970s. In terms of design, the bike features a cockpit fairing on the handlebars with a tinted windshield, Lava Orange metallic paint, and details such as the red S letter on the side cover. The R12 S is powered by a 1,170 cc BMW boxer-twin engine that can produce 109 hp at 7,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque. The R 12 S is marketed at Rp990,000,000

  1. S1000RR

The S1000RR motorcycle has aerodynamic wings to maintain stability when driving at high speeds. Its 999 cc engine produces power up to 210 hp at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The S1000RR can go from 0 to 100 kph in only 3.3 seconds. The S1000RR is labeled at Rp1,236,900,000.
