Heaptalk, Jakarta — Asuka Car TV launched two of its latest products at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 on Monday (07/22). These products include a head unit with virus-killing air detection features and a smart Android interface box.

“Following the success in 2022, we are once again presenting the head unit with detection features and a smart Android interface box. We believe the reintroduction of these two products will benefit the four-wheeled vehicles owned by the public,” said Albert Lim, Director of PT Intersis Sejahtera Abadi, which oversees the Asuka Car TV brand.

The head unit with air detection features is capable of detecting CO2 and purifying air up to PM2.5 particles, including killing viruses. This product integrates a CO2 sensor with an air purifier. In addition, this head unit employs the latest Android system with a high-quality QLED screen and 2K resolution.

“The application of the CO2 sensor in vehicles is very important because carbon dioxide is colorless and odorless. Excessive CO2 levels in the cabin reduce the amount of oxygen entering the body, causing drowsiness. Drowsiness while driving is dangerous since it can cause microsleep or sleep-deprived driving. If the CO2 indicator lights up, the driver can immediately find the nearest rest area,” he said.

Furthermore, Albert added that with the AP-100, car owners do not need special maintenance, as there is no need to replace or buy HEPA filters. In terms of specifications, the Asuka head unit for the ACK-509/510MAX series is equipped with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB memory.

The second product is the Asuka Smart Android Interface Box S-302+. This is the answer for those who want to have an Android head unit without dismantling the standard head unit. Albert said, “The Smart Android Interface Box S-302+. Its super mini size allows you to experience unlimited streaming with a super strong network based on the Android 10 operating system. To support its performance, the S-302+ has a built-in CPU ARM Cortex -A72 x 2, A53 x 4.”

Various features are embedded in this standard head unit, spanning YouTube, Disney Hotstar, Netflix, and Maps to direct integration with DTV, DVR, and AVM. One of the main features of the S-302+ is Bluetooth 5.0, which has the highest transfer speed compared to previous versions. “With just the Smart Android Interface box S-302+ from Asuka, consumers can bring Android features into their cars. Ensure that the car has the Apple Car Play feature first, then the S-302+ can connect to the car using a USB cable,” he concluded.
