Heaptalk, Jakarta — Handicraft Exporters and Producers Association (Asephi) organizes the 9th national meeting (Munas) from 22 to 24 July 2024. Taking place at JS Luwansa Hotel Jakarta, the five-yearly meeting is organized to evaluate ASEPHI’s performance for the last five years, outline the following work program, and elect the new board.
The Chairman of ASEPHI, Muchsin Ridjan, during the opening of the 9th Munas stated, “This meeting is participated by the central board (BPP) and the representative of 17 regional board (BPD) and 5 branch board (BPC)”.
Moreover, the Chairman of Steering Committee, Hatman, in the press release, stated, “One BPD is absent today because they do not carry out regional meeting (Musda) yet. I hope the implementation of Munas today can run smoothly.”
According to the Chief of Organizing Committee, Baby Jurmawati Djuri, the ninth Munas adopts theme ‘Innovative and Creative Craftsman is Ready to Collaborate to Promote National Economy’.
Moreover, she explained that every BPD and BPC sent two representatives, so around 46 representatives will join the meeting. In the opening of the 9th Munas, Asephi also invites its stakeholders and partners, such as five ministries who always support the association, including Trade Ministry, Ministry of MSMEs and Cooperation, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of SOE, and Ministry of Industry.
Baby added, “Munas IX Asephi will be started by the performance of special traditional dance. Moreover, Asephi also presents awards to 10 figures, from the internal members and external figures, who are actively involved in Asephi’s activities.
