Heaptalk, Jakarta — On Thursday (09/26), GWM Indonesia announced the inauguration of the Jemursari Dealer in Surabaya, marking its first presence in East Java.

This inauguration represents a strategic step for GWM Indonesia to expand its dealer network and further solidify its presence in Indonesia’s dynamic automotive market. As the city with the highest number of motor vehicles in Indonesia, Surabaya has a vast and continuously growing automotive market potential each year.

To meet the high mobility needs, GWM Jemursari was built on a 1,500-square-meter plot and is designed with a modern and futuristic 3S concept (Sales, Service, Spare Parts), creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for visitors. This allows customers to easily find their dream vehicles, along with fast and high-quality after-sales services.

Khoo Shao Tze, President Director of Inchcape Automotive Indonesia, explained, “As a leader in the global automotive distribution industry, Inchcape’s primary vision is to deliver premium driving experiences to the people of Indonesia. Through a strategic partnership with GWM, we will continue to introduce innovative products that are both high quality and environmentally friendly. With a customer-, planet-, and community-centered approach, we are confident in meeting the evolving mobility needs of the Indonesian people, including in East Java. We see great potential in this region and aspire to support the growth of the local automotive industry. In the future, we hope to positively contribute to developing the NEV ecosystem in East Java.”

Meanwhile, Lisa C. Wijaya, Sales & Network Director of GWM Indonesia, added, “We are very excited about the inauguration of our first dealer in Surabaya. This city holds the greatest potential in the automotive field, and we hope to contribute to its growth. With this new dealer, we aim to provide a better customer experience and introduce GWM’s latest innovations to the people of Surabaya.”

According to Lisa, GWM Indonesia remains committed to introducing the latest innovations in all its products, with the goal of meeting customers’ growing needs and expectations. Not limited to success in the domestic market, GWM recently achieved its highest monthly sales record in the international market, with a 31.6% increase compared to the previous year. “This achievement proves that GWM products are globally recognized and can compete with other automotive brands,” she concluded.
