Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, through the Directorate General of National Export Development (Ditjen PEN), has set up an Export Information Booth at the INACRAFT on October 2024 exhibition, held from October 2 to 6, 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
“The Export Information Booth provides a wide range of information related to the export process. Its presence is part of the Ministry’s effort to offer a consultation platform for businesses to enhance the competitiveness of their products and expand their export market access,” said Mardyana Listyowati, Director General of PEN at the Ministry of Trade, during the opening of INACRAFT 2024.
Mardyana further emphasized that the Ministry of Trade will facilitate the information needs of businesses aiming to improve their competitiveness and access to export markets. The Ministry provides useful information for business operators, exhibitors, and the general public interested in exports.
Located strategically in the main Lobby of JCC, this booth presents multiple details regarding the export development programs that the Trade Ministry initiated, such as product development facilitation, export promotion, Inaexport, Ina Digi Export, Export Centers in Surabaya and Makassar, and the Trade Expo Indonesia. Additionally, visitors can receive direct consultations on product design and packaging from designers affiliated with the Indonesia Design Development Center (IDDC).
Following the opening of INACRAFT on October, Director General Mardyana visited the Export Information Booth, interacting with visitors and business operators seeking consultations. She expressed her appreciation for the enthusiastic response from those eager to learn more about export opportunities.
“Visitors to the Export Information Booth are primarily interested in learning about export promotion for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), business cooperation opportunities, product demand from international buyers, export training, and participation in international trade fairs such as the Trade Expo Indonesia. We highly appreciate the enthusiasm of INACRAFT visitors in obtaining export-related information, indicating that many business operators are keen to tap into the opportunities available in export markets,” Mardyana conveyed.
INACRAFT on October 2024 occupies the entire 25,000-square-meter space of the JCC and features 815 individual participants, along with 130 exhibitors sponsored by various ministries, agencies, and state-owned enterprises. The event’s theme, “Youthpreneurs, Make It at Market,” coupled with the slogan “Totally Different,” highlights the exhibition’s focus on providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their curated creative works.
