Heaptalk, Jakarta – Minister of Housing and Settlements (PKP) Maruarar Sirait, together with Minister of National Family Planning and Coordination Board (BKKBN) Wihaji, has agreed to allocate 3,000 subsidized housing units for Family Assistance Teams (TPK) and Government Contract Employees (P3K) working as Family Planning Counselors.
The agreement was reached during a meeting held at the Ministry of Housing office, Wisma Mandiri 2, Jakarta, on Wednesday (05/14), and was attended by the Deputy Minister, BP Tapera Commissioner, and Directors General of the Ministry.
“This evening I met with Minister of National Population and Family Boar (BKKBN) Dr. H. Wihaji and the Deputy Minister to discuss the allocation of 3,000 homes for counselors and family assistance teams under BKKBN,” said Minister Maruarar Sirait.
He emphasized that this initiative is a real demonstration of the state’s commitment to all levels of society. Access to subsidized housing, he added, will be easier for field officers such as counselors and TPK, through the FLPP mortgage scheme for Low-Income Communities (MBR).
“This is concrete proof that the state is present for everyone. After teachers, laborers, migrant workers, journalists, and public health workers, now it’s the turn of TPK and Family Planning Counselors to be prioritized,” he said.
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Ministry of Housing and BKKBN, witnessed by the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as part of a collaborative effort to support the 3 Million Housing Program.
Maruarar also revealed that under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, the subsidized mortgage quota under the FLPP scheme has increased from 220,000 to 350,000 units in 2025.
“This is the time for the people to own homes. The government is present and continues to work to ensure citizens can access proper housing with fixed and affordable installments,” he stated.
Meanwhile, BKKBN Head Dr. H. Wihaji expressed full support for the initiative, noting that proper housing would boost the morale and productivity of TPK and field counselors.
“We are fully committed to supporting the 3 Million Housing Program. These subsidized homes will be allocated to TPK and field counselors so they can serve the community more effectively,” said Wihaji.
