Heaptalk, Jakarta — Tangerang Regency’s 392nd anniversary was marked by a special plenary meeting on Sunday (10/13) at the Tangerang Regency Regional House of Representative (DPRD) building, with the theme ‘Continuously Growing, Becoming Brighter.’
In his remarks, Acting Regent of Tangerang Andi Ony emphasized that during this joyous occasion, the Tangerang Regency Government remains committed to realizing economic development, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.
“We must ensure that the development we undertake benefits not only the current generation but also future generations,” Andi Ony stated during the Special Plenary Meeting celebrating Tangerang Regency’s 392nd anniversary at the DPRD building.
He called on all relevant stakeholders and elements of society to continue collaborating to ensure the success of all development policies in the Tangerang Regency. He expressed appreciation and thanks for all aspects of development that have contributed positively to the progress of Tangerang Regency. He said, “I also invite all elements of society to keep working together to ensure the success of all development efforts in the Regency.”
Moreover, the Tangerang Regency Government continues to support and promote national strategic programs, including inflation control, reducing stunting, addressing extreme poverty, and attracting investment. He added, “Thanks to the efforts and steps we have taken together, we have received recognition at both the provincial and national levels.”
Andi Ony also addressed the upcoming political year, with elections scheduled for November 2024. He urged everyone to maintain a conducive atmosphere, work together in synergy, and act professionally and reasonably to ensure that Tangerang Regency elects quality leaders who will lead the region to a better future. “Once again, I wish Tangerang Regency a happy 392nd anniversary, and I call on all elements to strengthen our commitment and unity in advancing Tangerang Regency to greater achievements,” Andi Ony concluded.
