The Head of Paser DKISP Ina Rosana revealed the importance of DTI-CX for government agencies, including Paser, in developing digitalization strategies in the Regency.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — As one of the attempts to accelerate digital transformation within the scope of government, the Communication and Informatics, Statistics and Encryption Department (DKISP) of Paser Regency took part in a collaboration event between the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and Adhouse Clarion Events entitled Digital Transformation Indonesia Conference and Expo (DTI-CX) 2023.
DTI-CX is a dedicated platform to connect tech providers with ten crucial industry sectors in driving digital transformation in the country. This event features various activities, covering exhibitions, conferences, business matching programs, technical workshops, high-level roundtable discussions, product demonstrations, networking reception, and industry awards.
Attending the event, the Head of Paser DKISP Ina Rosana revealed the importance of DTI-CX for government agencies, including Paser Regency, in developing digitalization strategies. “There are three components of digitalization, namely government, society, and business. Therefore, I see this (event) as being very strategically organized by colleagues from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics,” Ina said on the first day of DTI-CX 2023 at the JIExpo Jakarta Grand Ballroom (07/26).
According to Ina, accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia is urgently needed as this country is still far behind other countries, such as Singapore. However, Ina admitted that Indonesia has geographical challenges that are not comparable to Singapore. Through this event, she is optimistic that digital transformation leaps can be pursued to realize Indonesia’s vision of becoming a digital country in 2035.
“We in the government sector are making efforts to digitalize good governance, including through the Ministry programs such as Smart City and an electronic-based government system (SPBE). Paser is in progress. We hope that digitalization in the government and the people’s economy can run well. Hopefully, the relocation of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) can accelerate this goal,” she explained.
Developing the Paser Smart Service platform
Apart from that, Ina acknowledged that the people in Paser are increasingly digitally literate. Her party has developed Paser Smart Service as an integrated community service platform that accommodates diverse public needs both in obtaining public information and handling government administrations, and complaints. This platform is also available as an Android mobile app on smartphones.
“In fact, our society is much more digitalized. Our MSMEs have also utilized digital platforms. We have summarized everything in Paser Smart Service. We developed this to facilitate the public both to find information as well as carry out economic and government activities,” Ina added.
Regarding the provision of IT infrastructure to support digital transformation, the Paser Regency Government through DKISP has facilitated 313 internet service points which include regional apparatus and other work units with an installed bandwidth capacity of around 7,000 Mbps in 2022.
Meanwhile, the internet network in the villages is provided through collaboration with Icon+ which is intended for village offices, health facilities, and schools. Currently, there are 11 village internet points throughout Paser Regency, including Kasungai, Legai, Putang, Benten Tualan, Rantau Panjang, Pulau Rantau, Kerang Dayo, Saing Prupuk, Suatang, Keluang Paser Jaya and Krayan Raya.
