SPBE Summit 2023 presents five ministers who deliver strategic directions in accelerating the e-government system which aims to simplify business processes toward digital service.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Electronic Based Government Systems (SPBE) Summit 2023 is organized on March 20 in Jakarta in the framework of accomplishing digital sovereignty in Indonesia. The conference is carried out through a collaboration between the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) and the National Coordinating Team of the e-Government System.
The implementation of the SPBE Summit 2023 is expected to simplify business processes toward digital service thematics as well as create data and application interoperability through the utilization of the e-government system architecture.
SPBE Summit 2023 presents five ministers who deliver strategic directions in an effort to accelerate an electronic-based government system and prioritize the President’s program. In more detail, these ministers include PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas who conveys the strategic direction of the national electronic-based government system; Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Polhukam) Mahfud MD; Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy; Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto; and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marves) Luhut B. Pandjaitan.
Each Coordinating Minister delivers strategic directions according to their fields, namely politics, law, and security; human development and culture; economy; as well as maritime affairs. Meanwhile, good practices of the e-government system are presented by the Governor of East Java and the Regent of Banyuwangi.
Without comprehensive collaboration between agencies, digital acceleration will be difficult to achieve. “In this activity, we invite all central and regional leaders to understand the direction of the e-government system policy as well as gain insight from government agencies that have successfully implemented the e-government system,” said the Deputy for Institutional Affairs and Administration, Ministry of PANRB, Nanik Murwati in Jakarta (03/19).
Delivering the Digital Government Award
At the 2023 SPBE Summit, the government delivers the Digital Government Award to Central Agencies and Local Governments (IPPD) with six categories for the best implementation of the e-government system. The categories include service implementation, index achievement, index improvement, governance implementation, policy strengthening, and management implementation.
Nanik explained that this award is a form of appreciation and appreciation for government agencies with the highest monitoring and evaluation scores in implementing the e-government system in 2021 and 2022. The award is expected to provide insight into benchmark examples of good practices in implementing the e-government system.
SPBE Summit 2023 is also an opportunity to embody an integrated and sustainable e-government system in accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 95/2018 on Electronic Based Government Systems and Presidential Regulation No. 132/2022 on Electronic Based Government Systems Architecture.
With SPBE Summit 2023, the development of community-based digital services (citizen-centric) is expected to materialize soon. In addition, the Coordination Team of the e-government system is strengthened to become a Digital Transformation Agent (DTA) to ensure change management and digital service operations run well.
In addition, the government also emphasized the moratorium on application development and prioritized increasing the effectiveness of using applications that have been operating. Inter-government agencies strengthen application consolidation to become an Integrated Digital Platform, both internally and in central-regional agencies.
