Heaptalk, Jakarta — Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Andap Budhi Revianto, attended the Plenary Session with the agenda of the Governor’s explanation on the Draft Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) for 2025-2045 in the Plenary Room Session Room of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial DPRD, Monday. In his report, the Acting Governor explained that this long-term development remains in the conceptual phase and is connected with the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN).
“Through Law number 17, it becomes the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) as a guideline in the concept prepared by Bappenas,” explained Andap.
On this occasion, Andap also explained that the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government has formulated 17 priority programs in the RPJPD 2025-2045. The 17 programs are as follows:
- Achieving self-sufficiency in food, energy, and water
- Improvement of the state revenue system
- Political, legal, and bureaucratic reform
- Prevention and eradication of corruption
- Poverty eradication
- Prevention and eradication of narcotics
- Ensuring the availability of healthcare services for all Indonesians: improving BPJS health and providing medicines for the people
- Strengthening education, science, and technology, as well as digitalization
- Strengthening national defense and security and maintaining conducive international relations
- Strengthening gender equality and protecting the rights of women, children, and people with disabilities
- Ensuring environmental preservation
- Ensuring the availability of fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides directly to farmers
- Ensuring the development of quality, affordable, and well-sanitized housing for rural/urban communities
- Continuing economic equity and strengthening MSMEs through business credit programs and the development of the Nusantara Capital (IKN) and other innovative, characteristic, and independent cities
- Continuing downstream and industrialization based on natural resources (SDA), including maritime resources, to create widespread employment opportunities to achieve economic justice
- Ensuring harmony between religious communities, freedom of worship, and the establishment and maintenance of places of worship
- Preservation of arts and culture, enhancement of the creative economy, and improvement of sports achievements
“In the effort to achieve a Golden Indonesia from 2025-2045 as outlined in the RPJMN, the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government, together with the DPRD, is committed to contributing to development to reach the goal of becoming one of the top 5 largest economies worldwide by 2045,” Andap said
To achieve this target, he affirmed that maximum development contributions at the national and regional levels are required and undertaken by both central and regional governments and the private sector. The community and all relevant parties have their respective roles in utilizing local wisdom, potential, innovation, competitiveness, and creativity across regions.
