Heaptalk, Bogor – Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas acknowledges the efforts given by Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia to support the digital transformation according to the direction of President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo. The Attorney Goal is expected to become the pioneer of digital technology implementation to improve services to the public.
On Thursday (11/01), PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar after receiving the R. Soeprapto Award from the Attorney General in Bogor made a statement, “There are several instructions given by the President regarding the digital transformation acceleration, one of them being citizens must support the attorney in accelerating the integration of numerous applications into a unified public service portal.
“In the last few years, the Attorney General’s Office has been actively engaged in digital transformation. Including the scope of the High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) and State Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) because I oftenly visit some of the area and notice the innovation implemented. In the future, it will be impeccable with an integrated digital service according to Jokowi’s instructions,” explained Anas.
Anas is optimistic for the General Attorney’s Office to become one of the leading institutions in the new pattern of digital transformation with an integrated and good data exchange of Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) framework. “As the SPBE coordinator within the PANRB Ministry, we express confidence in the General Attorney’s efforts and believe they are emerging as a key pioneer in the integrated digital transformation aligned with Jokowi’s SPBE architecture,” declared the former head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).
Minister Anas reiterated that the digital transformation carried out is not about the additional application, but to accentuate the existing interoperability application. He gave an example of the Health Ministry’s effort that has successfully combined 400 more applications under one application namely ‘Satu Sehat’.
Anas also mentioned Indonesia will soon acquire a Government Technology or ‘GovTech’ that can accelerate the implementation of digital transformation in the government sector. Jokowi has appointed BUMN Peruri as Indonesia’s GovTech.
“GovTech will play a part in steering an integrated national digital service, so for the first time in history, Indonesia will gradually be in the process of having an integrated government digital service, unified under the same application not divided as it has been until now,” said Anas.
Through said opportunity, Minister Anas also received the R. Soeprapto Award from the General Attorney. This award was given for dedication, performance, innovation, and support from the PANRB Ministry for the execution of bureaucratic reformation and public service in the General Attorney’s environment. The PANRB ministry is also considered to be committed in encouraging the organizing and fortifying the Prosecutor’s Office institution in line with the enactment of Law no. 11/2021, which amends Law no. 16/2004 regarding the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia.
The R. Soeprapto Award was given by the General Attorney ST Burhanuddin as the conclusion event of the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024, “PANRB Ministry expresses gratitude for this award as the evidence of collaboration between ministry/institution for actualizing the bureaucratic reformation as well as ensuring efficient organizational structures within the Prosecutor’s Office, a key player in the nation’s legal sector,” Anas concluded.
