Heaptalk, Jakarta — After the handover ceremony for the position of Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of Bappenas from Suharso Monoarfa, Rachmat Pambudi stated his commitment to continuing the Golden Indonesia 2045 program.

“I ask for prayers and support from everyone because this is a heavy task, but as Allah SWT promises, we will not be given burdens beyond our capabilities,” Rachmat said at the Bappenas Building in Central Jakarta on Monday (10/21).

On the occasion, Rachmat also stated, “I have learned that the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas has an extraordinary and long history, dating back to the Juanda era when it was still called the National Planning Council. Every Ministry of PPN/Bappenas leader has significantly contributed to Indonesia’s development journey, leaving its mark in the nation’s history. The Ministry of PPN/Bappenas is not only a planning institution but also the intellectual powerhouse of Indonesia.”

Meanwhile, Suharso Monoarfa, the Head of Bappenas for the 2019-2024 period, emphasized the importance of continuity in government vision and national development towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision in his remarks.

“I hope what we do today marks a milestone of continuity, especially for the Indonesian people. The government must always prioritize the public’s interest to achieve the nation’s welfare. Our people still face many challenges, and the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas must be the driving force in designing the right solutions,” he explained.

Furthermore, he expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas, which the next generation should carry on. “I hope Prof. Rachmat Pambudi can continue this struggle, ensuring that the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas remains the key driver in realizing national development and ushering in the Indonesia Emas 2045 Vision,” Suharso concluded.
