Paser Regency Government won Merdeka Award for developing several MSME programs, including capital assistance through LPDB, UMKM Taka Paser app, and SIPD P3DN app.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Paser Regency Government has won the Merdeka Award initiated by Merdeka.com for the MSME program category. The award was handed over by the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki in Jakarta (08/30).
Assistant for Economy and Development at the Regional Secretariat of Paser Regency Adi Maulana received the award on behalf of Paser Regent Fahmi Fadil. Adi expressed his gratitude to God for His grace that Paser Regency could receive this award. He also thanked the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs and his staff as well as Merdeka.com for conducting assessments and deciding Paser as the winner of the Merdeka Award for the MSME program.
“There are two sides facing each other (with this award). First, this is an appreciation for us. On the other hand, it is also a burden for us to be able to provide assistance to MSMEs, no longer using ordinary methods but having to develop extraordinary methods,” voiced Adi.
One of the MSME programs developed by Paser Regency is capital assistance with a lending system of up to Rp4 billion through the Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB) which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs. Cooperatives and MSMEs can submit loan proposals online through the LPDB website by fulfilling the applicable terms and conditions.
Paser also has an application for MSMEs called UMKM Taka Paser which functions as a digital platform for business actors to market products ranging from food to handicrafts. To date, the Paser Regency Government is intensively socializing the application created in 2020 to increase technology literacy among MSME players.
In addition, Paser has developed the SIPD P3DN application, which stands for Regional Government Information System for a program to increase the use of domestic products. This app is one of Paser’s efforts to boost the use of domestic products in all goods and services procurement processes by prioritizing local entrepreneurs or MSMEs.
Apart from Paser Regency, the recipients of the Merdeka Awards 2023 for the MSME program category are Probolinggo City, Bontang City, Bandar Lampung City, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM).
