Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) presented this year’s budget realization to around 39.64% for the first and second quarter, amounting Rp149 billion of the total budget at Rp378 billion.
According to the Ministry’s Secretary, Rini Widyantini, the activities carried out during the first and second quarters were primarily preparatory and coordination activities, which could be conducted in a combination of online and offline formats. However, the activities will be referred to the field evaluations of various ministries/agencies and regions.
“Therefore, budget realization will be optimal in those periods, expected to reach above 95% by the end of the fourth quarter. The budget realization for the PANRB Ministry reached 98.62%, approximately Rp315 billion from the total budget of Rp320 billion last year,” she explained.
Rini outlined that the 2023 budget was used for implementing thematic bureaucratic reform programs, developing the Government Performance Accountability System (SAKP), digital government transformation through the development of the SPBE Architecture Portal, enhancing SPBE implementation, developing the ASN digital platform, improving public service integration in the public service portal or Digital MPP, and various strategies in ASN management.
“The budget was divided into Policy Program, ASN Profession Development and Governance Program, and Management Support Program,” she explained.
In the meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman of Commission II DPR RI Saan Mustopa, Rini also mentioned that the Ministry of PANRB is drafting the National Bureaucratic Reform Grand Design (GDRBN) for 2025-2045. The GDRBN 2025-2045 outlines the future direction of national bureaucratic reform policies.
The GDRBN will enhance ongoing bureaucratic reform efforts while accommodating strategic environmental changes and global challenges. Digital transformation will be the primary strategy to accelerate the creation of a World Class Bureaucracy, supporting Indonesia’s vision of becoming an Advanced Indonesia towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
On this occasion, DPR RI Commission II member Hugua appreciated the Ministry of PANRB’s budget realization 2023, which exceeded 95%. He also commended the ministry’s budget realization for the first and second quarters of 2024.
“We should appreciate it, specifically amid the previous election conditions and other dynamics, as the tasks in each agency were carried out dynamically,” he stated.
