Heaptalk, Jakarta — Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) performed the public service awards 2023 devoted to the government agencies at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta. (11/21)
In this agenda, PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar, granted the public service awards based on the most outstanding performance evaluations of public service delivery units (UPP), providers of facilities and infrastructure friendly to vulnerable groups, and the Public Service Mall (MPP) organizers. On the other hand, the Minister granted an award to the Top Commended Public Service Innovation, which consists of the Top 45 Achievements of Public Service Innovation selected in the Public Service Innovation Competition 2023.
Through this award, the Deputy for public services at the PANRB Ministry, Diah Natalisa, looks forward to this award, which would encourage competition between agencies positively. In awarding the participant, she revealed that Recipients of the 2023 Top Public Service Innovation Award come from Ministries or Institutions and Regional Governments, State-Owned Enterprises, and Regional-Owned Enterprises.
In implementing the Public Service Provider Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (PEKPPP) 2023, Diah explained that the process was carried out independently by Ministries, Institutions, and Regional Governments in the scope of administration, goods, and services. This matter is expected to improve every government agency and BUMN in operating the existing instrument to measure service performance following their scope.
Meanwhile, in implementing MPP monitoring and evaluation, Diah explained that this effort combines the Balanced Scorecard concept and the Servqual concept, aiming to oversee the impact of MPP in supporting investment in the district and discover cities that have possessed MPP. This inauguration is expected to increase the number of MPPs, which has spread to 175 in Indonesia.
Presenting several strategic steps in the award ceremony
In conjunction with this awarding agenda, around 12 regional governments also inaugurated MPP concurrently, spanning Bengkalis Regency, Lubuklinggau City, Muara Enim Regency, Tangerang Regency, Magelang Regency, Jember Regency, Bangkalan Regency, Pamekasan Regency, Sintang Regency, Banggai Regency, Polewali Mandar Regency, and Ngada Regency. This inauguration is expected to increase the number of MPPs, which have spread to 175 MPPs in Indonesia.
On the other hand, the Ministry of PANRB also launched the National Public Service Innovation Network (JIPPNas) platform as the database and management system to accelerate the public service process.
“The JIPPNas website will display around 2,928 innovation data originating from the Ministry of PANRB’s Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP), the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Innovative Government Award (IGA), and the LAN Innovation Laboratory (InoLAN). This website is expected to become a national reference regarding best practices for national public service innovation,” concluded Diah.
