Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s Ministry of PANRB, together with Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and the Head of a State Administrative Agency (LAN), which was represented by Deputy for State Civil Service Management Studies and Innovation, Agus Sudrajat, launched the National Public Service Innovation Network (JIPPNas) website.
As the key to transformation, the Minister of PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas, said that innovation is an essential element in responding to changes in the strategic environment, which tends to be dynamic. For this reason, the launch of the JIPPNas website can strengthen public public service and ensure the positive impact of bureaucratic reform.
“The launch of the JIPPNas website would be a knowledge management system and the national public service innovation database,” affirmed Minister Anas.
For information, the JIPPNas website is a portal that can integrate public service information innovation data. This website will display around 2,929 data originating from the Ministry of PANRB’s Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP), the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Innovative Government Award (IGA), and the LAN Innovation Laboratory (InoLAN). The government hopes this website will become a national reference for best practices regarding national public services.
Regarding implementing KIPP 2023, around 3,110 innovation proposals have been registered in the public service innovation system. The 2023 KIPP assessment series demonstrated the Top Praiseworthy Public Service Innovations consisting of the Top 45 General Group Innovations and 5 Outstanding Achievement Public Service Innovation winners.
Concurrently, Minister Anas also granted awards to Top Praiseworthy Innovations. He expressed his appreciation for government agencies that have performed multiple strategic efforts to provide outstanding service to the community. As a public service builder, the Ministry encourages government agencies to produce innovations yearly through the One Agency, One Innovation movement. These innovations can be integrated and interoperable into the existing applications.
“We appreciate the Ministers, Heads of Institutions, and Regional Heads who have proven their intentions and consistency in realizing the best public services,” Anas concluded.
