Heaptalk, Jakarta — Kaimana Regency Government has received an unqualified opinion (wajar tanpa pengecualian, WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) for its 2023 Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD). This marks the 11th consecutive year that Kaimana has obtained this opinion.
The West Papua Provincial Representative of BPK in Manokwari presented the award on Saturday (08/31) to recognize the region’s transparent and accountable financial management. Kaimana Regent Freddy Thie expressed his gratitude for this achievement and extended his highest appreciation to the people of Kaimana and the Regional Government Organizations (OPD) for their hard work.
“I want to thank all the people of Kaimana who always support government programs. I also want to thank all the OPD who have worked with dedication to ensure our regional financial management remains transparent and accountable,” Freddy said.
Furthermore, Freddy mentioned that this achievement is not just the government’s but belongs to all the people of Kaimana, who consistently collaborate with the government to achieve common goals. He added, “This achievement is not due to my strength or ability, but because of the prayers and support of all the people of Kaimana without exception.”
“With this WTP recognition, the Kaimana Regency Government will be even more motivated to continue improving its performance and maintaining the quality of financial management in the future,” Freddy concluded.
