Heaptalk, Jakarta — Fakfak Regent, Untung Tamsil, visited the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) office to expedite the completion of Thumburuni Fakfak Market.
“On this occasion, I came with the heads of technical regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to discuss the completion of the Thumburuni Fakfak Public Market,” said Regent Untung.
He further stated that he had met with Usman Hermanto, the Head of the Technical Planning Sub-Directorate of the Strategic Infrastructure Directorate at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and had already coordinated with him.
“In essence, the construction of the Thumburuni People’s Market will still be completed in 2024,” he added.
He mentioned that the Ministry of PUPR, through the Infrastructure Office, has terminated the contract with the previous contractor handling the Thumburuni Market construction and has established a new agreement to accomplish the construction this year. Regent Untung emphasized that the construction of the Thumburuni Public Market will be completed in 2024, which society in Fakfak Regency s expected to utilize as quickly as possible.
