Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Regency, through the Regional Education and Culture Office, intends to construct a Cultural Museum in 2025. According to the Head of Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of East Kutai, Mulyono, the cultural museum will be established on Soekarno-Hatta Street, North Sangatta.
“The land area is approximately four hectares. We are preparing the land this year and will propose the construction of the building for next year,” Mulyono said.
He further explained that in order to protect the operations of the East Kutai Museum legally, a regional regulation or a regent regulation will be arranged.
Concluding the statement, Head of Disdikbud at East Kutai looks forwad to the presence of the museum in the capital of East Kutai will enliven the region’s art and culture.
The building of this museum also obtains full support from the East Kutai Regent, Ardiansyah Sulaiman. According to him, museum is a place for society to learn the national hystory, cuture, archeology, society’s structure, and assist people to see more perspectives.
“The consutruction of this museum also intends to remind people about their true identity,” said Ardiansyah.
