Tangerang City Government obtains the highest rate for its financial report for 16 months consecutively.
Heaptalk, Tangerang — Acting Mayor of Tangerang City Nurdin received a visit from Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) for Banten Provincial to conduct an entry meeting towards the examination of the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) 2023.
The entry meeting is the initial step to obtain BPK’s statement, which is the professional evaluator for the equity of financial reports. The evaluation will be based on government accountancy standards, including adequate disclosures, compliance with the law and regulation, and the effectiveness of the internal control system.
During the meeting, Nurdin stated that the regional government is poised to fully support the LKPD’s activities to obtain optimal results.
“During the evaluation process, (the civil servants) are not allowed to carry out business trips to make the process run smoothly and face no obstacles,” stated Acting Mayor Nurdin when receiving BPK’s visit on Monday (01/29).
Nurdin also delivered his appreciation for BPK Banten’s guidance. Thus Tangerang City Government always obtains the highest rate for its financial report.
“This is, for sure, an achievement which was obtained from the hard work and commitment from all parties,” confirmed Nurdin.
Meanwhile, the head of BPK, Banten Dede Sukarjo, appreciated the Tangerang City Government, which can maintain its financial report predicate in the level of Fairness without Exception for 16 months, consecutively, when other regions experienced a decrease in this appraisal.
