Muslim LifeFair Jakarta is held for 3 days on March 17-19, 2023 at Hall A JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta, presenting 230 booths from 128 brands.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Lima Events and the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI) are collaborating to organize a 3-day Muslim LifeFair on March 17-19, 2023, in Hall A of JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

This event is held as a form of commitment by halal business actors to embody Indonesia’s mission to become the center of world halal producers, namely the Indonesian Global Halal Hub 2024. Apart from being a bazaar for halal products and Islamic finance, Muslim LifeFair is also an educational event to strengthen friendships between halal businesses and visitors.

Held in less than a week before Ramadhan, Muslim LifeFair Jakarta is expected to provide various needs for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr by attracting 20 thousand visitors. This ambition follows the success of the previous year which managed to bring in the same number of visitors. Last year’s event was held during the pandemic in a number of cities, spanning Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bandung. On a larger event scale, Muslim LifeFest which was held in August 2022 could attract around 30 thousand visitors.

“We see that the public’s interest in exhibitions, including the Muslim LifeFair, is very large. Certainly, we want this exhibition to be a momentum for Muslim MSMEs to develop better and to become a place to strengthen relations, to encourage businesses to be inclusive and sustainable,” said Director of Lima Events Deddy Andu at the opening of Muslim Lifefair at JIExpo (03/17).

Carrying the theme #NyoKiteKumpul, meaning let us together, Chairman of KPMI, Rachmat Marpaung, said that this year’s Muslim LifeFair Jakarta could revive the spirit of muamalat according to the guidance of Rasulullah SAW, scale up the business scale of MSMEs players, and strengthen the halal business ecosystem in Indonesia.

Presenting Atelier Angelina and Serlok Kuliner

One of the exhibitors, the Muslimah fashion brand Atelier Angelina, appreciated the event as it provided many benefits for business people. According to Marketing Director Afifuddin, Atelier Angelina has received an enthusiastic welcome from visitors since participating in this event for the first in 2022 at the Jogja Expo Center. Previously, this Muslim fashion brand did a marketing strategy through online platforms.

Optimizing Muslim Lifefair as a market promotion and education event, Atelier Angelina is committed to participating in this event throughout 2023 while improving performance in terms of products, promos, and visualization of stands and services.

“Every time Muslim LifeFair Muslim is held, Atelier Angelina’s booth always carries a different theme. We harness this kind of exhibition to launch new products, including at the Muslim LifeFair JIExpo,” said Afifudin.

Besides presenting 230 booths from 128 brands, Muslim LifeFair also hosted the soft launch of Urun RI, a crowdfunding service platform through information technology-based securities offerings (securities crowdfunding). The platform aims to bring together investors and MSMEs to accelerate their business according to the guidance of the Prophet.

For culinary lovers, Serlok Kuliner initiated by Uki Kautsar and Reda Samudra conducts live tenant reviews during the exhibition. Visitors who are pursuing the culinary business or are about to start the business can obtain information on the partnership and business strategy in the Serlok Stage area which is attended by 40 culinary stands. In addition, visitors can also access culinary business financing information from a number of platforms, namely Shafiq, LBS Urun Dana, Urun Ri, and BMT Ash-Shiddiq.
