Heaptalk, Jakarta — The National Electronic Catalog Association (AKEN) to hold the second edition of the Indonesia International Sustainable Procurement Expo (I2SPE) in 2023, held for two days from October 30th – 31st, at the Westin Hotel, Jakarta.

In this agenda, multiple stakeholders are invited spanning the Head of Indonesia’s Public Procurement Agency (LKPP), Hendrar Prihadi, Executive Director of Philippines Procurement (GPPB-TSO), Rowena Candice Ruiz, and chairman of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance (MoF) Section of the Royal Revenue Division (GDP), Wan Azwar Zaihan Wan Ahmad.

Carrying out the Stronger Sustainability with Digital Transformation and Renewable Energy as the theme, I2SPE will present a series of information related to the Indonesian government’s procurement of goods and services, digital transformation, green procurement, procurement achievements from ASEAN countries, sustainable procurement, and networking expansion with other procurement practitioners.

Supported by the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Communications and Informatics, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) APTIKNAS, APJII, and ASPERAPI, the association will also deliver several exciting programs, such as national seminars, talk shows, startup summits, and international seminars.

On the other hand, this event will be a momentum for socializing the new e-catalog platform for procurement actors. This new platform will positively impact increasing Domestic Products (PDN) and the efficiency of state spending, speeding up the process of procuring goods and services and realizing transparency in the procurement process.

In the second edition of ISPE, AKEN looks forward to attracting more attendees and visitors, compared to last March’s previous agenda, which managed to involve more than 25 attendees and attract over 2400 visitors at JiExpo Kemayoran. Regarding the transaction value, implementing I2SPE is also expected to exceed the targeted transaction of Indonesia’s President Jokowi worth Rp500 trillion, with an increase of 600%  this year.
