Heaptalk, Jakarta — The 3rd Asia Disaster Management and Civil Protection Expo (ADEXCO) is poised to return on 11 to 14 September 2024. Taking place at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta, the expo is expected to provide opportunities for all parties to discuss the latest technologies in disaster management.

Adexco’s Director of Operations Adrian Cader voiced, ”Adexco is a platform to discuss and collaborate regarding the science and related technology of disaster management. This expo benefits Indonesia and also other countries who join IEE Series”.

For information, Adexco will be held in conjunction with the series of Indonesian Energy and Engineering Expo (IEE) as well as Mining Indonesia and Construction Indonesia. The 2024 Adexco is designed to mitigate the new challenge of natural disasters and related sectors. This event invites various stakeholders, including policymakers, government, industry leaders, geek-tech, community, and non-governmental organizations.

Employing the theme ‘Advancing Resilience Sustainability’, the four-day event will present the Global Forum for Sustainable Resilience in collaboration with Indonesia’s Board for Disaster Management (BNPB).

Prior to the peak event, the promotor, Pamerindo Indonesia, also held Road to Adexco in conjunction with the National Coordination Meeting for Disaster Management on 23-24 April 2024 in Bandung. Before Indonesia’s Vice President K. H. Ma’ruf Amin, BNPB’s Head of Deputy for Systems and Strategy Raditya Jati uttered, “Adexco is a moment for us to build Indonesian disaster management industry. This expo can drive multiple industries to support Indonesia to become Center of Excellence in disaster management technology.”

The organizing of Adexco is also aligned with the Vice President’s instruction to develop the disaster management industry through technology and innovation. The presence of Adexco is expected to provide comprehensive disaster management solutions, build cross-industry collaboration, and be a platform to share innovation and ideas for natural disaster mitigation, infrastructure resilience, regulation, and supply chain resilience.
