Heaptalk, Jakarta — You C1000, a Vitamin C drink brand, initiated the Fashion & Makeup Contest 2024 to support the creativity of young people, especially in the fashion industry in Indonesia. During the grand final event, participants had the opportunity to showcase their work in a fashion show and makeup show at the Grand Atrium of Kota Kasablanka from November 22 to 24, 2024.

With participation from 12 fashion schools and makeup schools in Indonesia, this competition aims to reignite the spirit of creativity among young people while enriching the development of the fashion industry in the country post-pandemic. Adopting the theme ‘Province of Indonesia,’ with each school assigned a different provincial theme, participants are encouraged to combine innovative fashion concepts with local and modern elements, representing the youthful spirit of each contestant.

“We are very excited about this initiative. After the pandemic, the fashion industry faced many challenges, and through this event, we hope to encourage young designers to keep creating and contribute to the advancement of the fashion industry in Indonesia,” said Henky Prabowo, Sales & Marketing Director at You C1000.

The event offers a grand prize of a fashion trip to Hong Kong Fashion Week 2025 for the first-place winners from each participating fashion and makeup school. The direct experience of seeing international fashion shows is expected to broaden perspectives, expand networks, and provide new inspiration for young Indonesian designers.

Through this event, You C1000 is optimistic that collaboration with educational institutions can create a positive impact not only for the individual participants but also for the creative industry as a whole. This competition is expected to serve as a platform for young people to express themselves and bring a fresh perspective to the fashion industry.
