Heaptalk, Jakarta – Beehave pictures, the firm who successfully produced one of the top-grossing movies, ‘Air Mata Di Ujung Sajadah’, collaborated with A&Z Pictures and Legacy Pictures to launch a trailer, posters, and original soundtrack of its new movie, Tabayyun at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta (01/31). Slated to be launched on 8 May 2025, the movie is expected to depict women’s struggles against societal harmful stereotypes of a single mother in the archipelago.
According to Titi Kamal, one of the cast (Zalina) who also sits as executive producer of Tabayyun, the story of this movie adopts the real condition experienced by many single mothers in Indonesia, thus, she hopes people can really feel the emotion.
Zalina has to fight against rumors that appear due to the bad image of a single mother in the country. The story of Tabayyun also illustrates how Zalina is insulted by society and considered a harlot and ‘preloved’ stuff.
The movie producer, Nafa Urbach, stated during the press conference, “All single mothers must watch this movie.”
The movie producer of Tabayyun, Ronny Irawan, conveyed that the team has put their best efforts to create a movie that aligns with the reality that exists in society. Using ‘Tabayyun’ as the title of the movie, the producers aim to educate people about the importance of critical thinking and seeking the truth before spreading fake news. The movie will deliver the cruelty of the hoax, which can hurt people’s mental.
Titi Kamal conveyed, “Zalina has mental trauma; she decided to close her heart to anyone and focus on raising her child. But one day, a man who is the child of her boss falls in love with her. She thinks that she is not appropriate for him. The movie depicts the struggle of a single mother which is adorable, I am speechless.”
In addition to Titi Kamal, the movie involved multiple well-known casts, spanning Ibrahim Risyad, Naysilla Mirdad, Farrell Rafisqy, Maya Hassan, Jenny Rachman, and more. The movie also involved Key Mangunsong as the film director and Titien Wattimena as the screenwriter. They were previously known to be the film directors and screenwriter of ‘Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah’ movie.
