Heaptalk, Jakarta — After successfully holding Energy Week last August, Pamerindo Indonesia continues the organizing of IEE Series through Engineering Week, from 11 to 14 September 2024. Taking place at JIExpo, Jakarta, Pamerindo Indonesia claimed to drive local industries to flourish by providing a platform for domestic players to showcase their innovation in IEE Series.
The Country Manager of PT Pamerindo Indonesia, Lia Indriasari, during the press conference on the Opening Ceremony of Engineering Week stated, “For capturing the needs of industries, we must drive the adoption of local content. As the Exhibitor Organizer, we support local businesses by providing more space for local products to be showcased” (09/11).
As the concrete action, Lia conveyed to provide Resilience Hub, a platform for local businesses in disaster management and civil protection sectors to exhibit their products.
“Most of the products in the Resilience Hub were developed by universities in Indonesia, and the products adopt Indonesian technology. We provide this platform for free,” conveyed Lia.
She added that Pamerindo Indonesia, during the organizing of IEE Series also support the logistic process for local businesses to distribute their products to customers.
Lia added, “We also support them by curating their booth, we hope this measure can help local content to thrive”.
Aiming to strengthen collaboration for local players, IEE Series also presents Connecting the Disconnected program. This initiative intends to connect academics, researchers, and students directly with industries and related associations. Some programs involve industry players and associations offering scholarships to students from three major universities in Indonesia, as well as a Student Visit program from various engineering study programs at universities.
For information, IEE Series 2024 managed to attract over 2,800 participants from 44 countries. Pamerindo Indonesia expects the transaction value of today’s event to surpass its previous record, which attained Rp 2.2 trillion or USD 142.5 million (USD1 equals 15,441).
