Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Russian Indonesian Student Association (PERMIRA) and PERMIRA Kazan Representatives held the annual Archipelago Festival and the PERMIRA 224 Men’s and Women’s Grand Final at Kazan Federal University (07/13).
This event is a PERMIRA 2024 Interests and Talents Department work program. It is the culmination of activities to promote Indonesian culture and seek superior talents from Indonesian students studying in Russia for the prestigious PERMIRA 2024 Men’s and Women’s competitions.
As a part of the event series, Festival Nusantara 2024 presents outstanding performances of Indonesian students in Kazan, spanning Pencak Silat, Ambon Dance, Poetry Reading, Vocal Solo, Collaborative Performance by PERMIRA’s Men-Women Finalists, Garuda Band, Indang Dance, and Finalist Question and Answer Session with the Judges.
“Friends from Indonesia are incredibly talented. I want to be able to go to Indonesia every year. Indonesia is a warm country with a positive aura. This collaboration will be an example for other PPIs and must be well maintained between the KFU campus and PERMIRA,” Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Russia, Berlian Helmy, said.
The judges have named several winners of the 2024 PERMIRA, such as Karimatiar Elang Kusuma Dwiansyah from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, as the 2024 PERMIRA Man and Jiva Saccid Anandyta from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, as the 2024 PERMIRA Woman.
In the second place, the judges named Ilham Maulana from Peter The Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg, and Kiki Rizki Agustiani Putri from Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, as Runners Up. In third place is Hikmah Abrar from Kazan Federal University, Kazan, and Dewi Sartika Taula’bi from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow.
The PERMIRA 2024 winners are expected to be ambassadors and promote harmonious relations between Indonesia and Russia. Support from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, Kazan Federal University, Etnomir, Friendship Society with Indonesia, Dialogue of Culture, Defense Attache, Shufu, Paruski, PPI Dunia, Felari, Zetizens, Republika, and many other parties played an essential role for this event. With enthusiasm and hard work, the Indonesian generation in Russia is set to build robust and positive bilateral relations between the two countries.
“This event will open up opportunities for cooperation between Indonesia and Russia in the field of education, such as collaboration between universities and cultural events between the two countries.” Head of Interests and Talents Department of PERMIRA 2024, Riedho Dharmawan, said.
