Heaptalk, Jakarta — Sociolla, an omnichannel beauty retail platform in Indonesia, organized Sociolla Beauty Wonderland (SBW) at the Exhibition Hall of Grand Indonesia Mall, Central Jakarta, from November 7 to 17, 2024. Held annually since 2019, this year’s SBW is claimed to be the largest, featuring over 100 brands, both local and global, with thousands of beauty and personal care products.

During the eleven-day event, visitors can try out the latest products and engage directly with brand representatives. Among the new products are the South Korean beauty brand Amuse and the fragrance brand Islan Fragrance, created by Indonesian public figure Chelsea Islan.

“SBW actually started in 2019, but initially online. Then, starting in 2022, we held it offline as we recognized the enthusiasm of our beauty besties who wanted to come and try out brands and the latest trends. This year is even more special, and it is one of our biggest events,” stated Christopher Madiam, Co-Founder & CEO of Social Bella, at Grand Indonesia Mall, Central Jakarta (11/08).

Providing security and comfort

This year, Sociolla Beauty Wonderland is collaborating with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) to ensure that all products sold are safe, as they have gone through rigorous verification. This initiative aims to provide a sense of security and comfort for customers.

“The BPOM label is not solely a decoration; it holds significant meaning because the government guarantees the safety of these products. We have 80 technical implementation units across Indonesia, including four in Jakarta,” said Taruna Ikrar, Head of BPOM, at Sociolla Beauty Wonderland in Central Jakarta (11/08).

“It is not only about selling products; we also want to offer a distinguish experience. On top of that, we want to reassure beauty enthusiasts and our beauty besties that everything here is safe. One of the steps we’ve taken is, surely, collaborating with BPOM,” Christopher concluded.
