Heaptalk, Jakarta — Hyper Mega Shipping (HMS) is participating in the prestigious international event called Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten.
During the exhibition, which runs from October 9-12, 2024, HMS, located at Hall 7, is targeting 2% of the 6,000 foreign buyers attending TEI 2024, as Ahmad Baihaki, Marketing Supervisor at Hyper Mega Shipping, stated on Wednesday (10/09).
“As emphasized by President Jokowi and Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, there are 6,000 foreign buyers present at TEI 2024. We are targeting 2% of those buyers. In terms of priority regions, they include Asia, the USA, the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand,” said Ahmad Baihaki.
Susi, Sales at HMS, mentioned that TEI 2024 is the second exhibition in which HMS has participated. She said, “Previously, we participated in Iffina, which was also held at ICE BSD.” Susi added that HMS’s participation in TEI 2024 aims to capture export opportunities. “As a consolidator, through this exhibition, we aim to expand our exports and gather more business information related to export needs,” she said.
Meanwhile, Reef, the CEO of HMS, stated that Hyper Mega Shipping’s participation aims to strengthen its brand through this prestigious event. “We continue to introduce our services as professional freight forwarders. This event also marks part of the 20th anniversary of Hyper Mega Shipping.”
“I want to express my gratitude for the hard work and sincere support that has allowed HMS to grow to where it is today. HMS has been around for 20 years, starting from a small office with five people in Jakarta. Now, we have branches in Surabaya, Semarang, Hong Kong, and Singapore. We hope to open more branches in the coming years. We will continue to uphold our commitment to sustainability and green logistics,” Reef stated.
To support green logistics, HMS continues to develop electronic delivery online (EDO), systematize container freight station (CFS) warehouses, offer online membership booking for customers, obtain ISO certification, and adopt ERP to integrate our systems—from HR, sales, marketing, and operations to finance. This will enhance our business efficiently and effectively in the long term.
Additionally, HMS is continuously innovating, as noted by Ahmad Baihaki. He added, “We are introducing this innovation during our branding efforts and digitalization. The goal is to make HMS more well-known.” HMS is one of Indonesia’s leading freight forwarding companies, assisting with export and import licensing and handling export/import processes.
“The most important thing is we need the legality of the goods. Even if the clients do not have it, we can help. The key is to ensure that all the legal documents for the goods are complete, and we can assist,” he concluded.
