Heaptalk, Jakarta — Apkasi Procurement Network 2023: Expo and Forum (APN 2023) has officially opened by the Chairman of Apkasi, Sutan Riska Tuanku Kerajaan, in the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
In his opening remarks, Chairman Sutan said, “Around 95% of the goods and services budget ceiling must be allocated to spending on domestic products. Through this agenda, I hope local government entities, ministries, and institutions can interact directly with providers of goods and services to purchase products that are still needed for the 2023 fiscal year and prepare the products needed for next year.”
In his further statement, he claimed that the Apkasi continues to support the central government’s efforts to target spending on domestic products in the government’s Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) to reach 95%, worth Rp1,171 trillion in 2023.
To reach this goal, Sutan also revealed that Apkasi also provides a consultation program devoted to visitors, local governments, and providers of goods and services with LKPP and the Ministry of Industry regarding the calculation of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) during the implementation of APN 2023. Apart from being held as an exhibition event, APN 2023 also provides budget users with learning related to PBJ management through workshops and business matching as a side event of this exhibition.
As delivered by the Director of Digital Market Procurement Policy Agency Procurement of Goods and Services (LKPP), Yulianto Prihandoyo, emphasized that the focus of the national PBJ aims to increase the use of PDN, uplift the portion of SME and cooperative businesses, ensure transparency of PBJ, strive for efficiency in government spending and accelerate the absorption of the government budget.
“This point is important because every Rp400 trillion in PDN will have an impact on absorbing 2 million workers and boosting economic growth by 1.5% – 1.8%,” added Yulianto.
Aligned with Yulianto, Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Suhajar Diantoro, said that the PDN philosophy refers to the APBD worth Rp1,200 trillion, of which the most significant allocation is in the district government worth Rp700 trillion. For this reason, the government looks forward to the budget could be spent at the minimum value of a quarter of the total to revive the domestic economy.
“This matter underlies the call for APBN and APBD spending of at least 40% to be domestic products. The implementation of APN 2023 should be appreciated and supported as a real step to contribute to moving the national economy,” concluded Suhajar.
