Heaptalk, Bekasi — From February 21 to 23, 2025, Muslim LifeFair (Muffair) Bekasi will be held at Revo Mall, Kota Bekasi. Lucky Cahyo, Secretary General of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI) Center, stated that Kota Bekasi was chosen due to the enthusiasm of exhibition visitors, who selected Bekasi as the venue for this year’s event.

Lima Events is presenting multiple special programs to debut in Bekasi to provide a more engaging shopping and educational experience. “Muslim LifeFair not only serves as a budget-friendly shopping solution ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr but also promotes the understanding of sharia economics and strengthens the halal ecosystem in Bekasi,” Lucky said at the Muslim LifeFair press conference at Revo Mall.

Deddy Andu, Director of Lima Events, added that the special programs include educational sessions, children’s sessions, various competitions, SME classes, and Ramadan cooking demonstrations. “As part of our social action, Muslim LifeFair is collaborating with the Hiro Project in the 1000 Ramadan staple food package program that will be distributed to underprivileged residents in Jabodetabek,” Deddy said.

Meanwhile, Rita Hartati, Acting Head of the Bekasi City Cooperative and SME Office, said that besides being a shopping event, Muslim LifeFair also serves as an educational platform for Sharia economics and strengthening the Muslim community. With the spirit of economic independence for the community, this event provides opportunities for local SMEs to expand their market and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian halal products.

Rita said, “This activity is an effort to advance the marketing turnover and development of SMEs in Bekasi City. Bekasi City is an extraordinary market for SME development. We are enhancing SMEs by improving business matching for SME actors and allocating Rp25 billion for SMEs.”

Sukatmi, Head of the Bekasi City Industry Sector, stated that Muffair supports activities during Ramadan. “The trade department, especially the industry, supports SMEs in upgrading and provides the opportunity to become world-class SMEs by having Indonesian National Standards (SNI). I also believe that Bekasi SMEs will become more widely known with this event,” Sukatmi concluded.
