Heaptalk, Jakarta — Merlynn Park Hotel organized One Day with Makeup Artist for the first time on Tuesday (10/12). Collaborating with Indonesian well-known makeup artist, Kannu, this enticing agenda targets to promote the wedding industry.
General Manager of Merlynn Park Hotel Jakarta Adolf Gustaf, during the press conference of this event, conveyed, “This agenda is part of our hotel business program which focuses on the wedding industry.”
In addition to inviting Kannu, Merlynn Park also invited Putri Bumi Miss 2023, and the representative of Abang-Mpok None Jakarta to enliven the event.
“The idea of collaborating with a make-up artist appears because this event is closely related to the makeup industry, and is a critical aspect in weddings. The presence of Putri Bumi also presents a new extensive dimension towards beauty, while Abang-Mpok None Jakarta represents the local culture Betawi,” stated Gustav.
Moreover, Gustav explained, “This two-day event adopted traditional themes which is aligned with the pace of our business in the wedding industry. We have a great ballroom which can accommodate 2,000 people.”
During the event, Kannu as the makeup expert, delivered his insightful knowledge and new skills about how to create flawless makeup to the visitors.
The makeup artist who has been popular since being chosen to do the make-up for Indonesia’s president’s child, Kaesang, appreciated the agenda for its contribution to assist the makeup artist in obtaining certification easily.
“No wonder if hundreds of participants join the event,” added Kannu.
Kannu believed that One Day with Makeup Artist would be a pioneer in opening new ways for the wedding industry.
Aligned with Kannu’s viewpoint, Putri Bumi Indonesia, Wenda also appreciated the organizing of the occasion. Wenda said, “This event proves that makeup is important, not only in terms of how to use it but the process and the trick to wear suitable makeup for us.”
