Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Day Indonesia 2024 is held on Thursday (07/18) at The Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta, to unlock the unlimited potential of life insurance agents in Indonesia.
During the MDRT Speaks session, participants will have the opportunity to hear unique sales ideas and inspiration from experts in the field. This session features successful and experienced MDRT members from Indonesia, including Ho Wee Fun Fenny (6-year member), Oktaviani Lidya Luntunga (5-year member), Helen Susanto (4-year member), Cathlin Amelinda (3-year member), Venty (3-year member), Anthony Salim (1-year member), Gracetine Marjati Winata (1-year member), and Tirto Benny Hansen (1-year member).
“This consistently held annual inspirational seminar aims to continuously promote the professionalism of life insurance agents through competence enhancement, which not only impacts productivity but, more fundamentally, the capacity of insurance agents as reliable financial advisors in the insurance sector, capable of competing as advisors in the global financial market,” explained Rudy Setiawan, Committee Chair of MDRT Day Indonesia 2024, during a press conference following the opening of MDRT at The Kasablanka Hall on Thursday (07/18).
Adopting the theme ‘Unlimited Goals Unlimited Gains,’ MDRT Day Indonesia 2024 offers various engaging sessions throughout the event. A highlight of the Main Platform session is MDRT President 2024, Gregory B. Gagne, a 25-year member. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to learn from global practitioners and professionals, including Kelvin Pong Ming Onn (17-year member), Shalyn Lee (7-year member), Jensen Siaw (member of The Premiere Association of Financial Professionals), and Edward Suhadi (Creative Director of Ceritera and entrepreneur).
One of the main issues discussed at this event is the challenges and opportunities in Indonesia’s life insurance industry. Despite the relatively low penetration of life insurance in Indonesia compared to developed countries, MDRT strives to promote growth in this sector through various initiatives.
“By educating the public on the importance of life insurance and providing support to insurance professionals to continuously improve their skills and knowledge, MDRT hopes to increase public awareness and trust in life insurance products,” Rudy concluded.
