Laufey hypnotizes the audience on the 2nd day of BNI Java Jazz Festival 2024

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Laufey enlivened the stage at the Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2024 on the second day, Saturday (05/25). Tickets for her performance had been sold out since two weeks ago.

Held at BNI Hall, Laufey captivated thousands of spectators and created an incredibly festive atmosphere. Dressed in an elegant red gown, Laufey opened her performance with the song “While You Were Sleeping,” immediately greeting and charming the hearts of the audience.

The beautiful harmonies and emotion conveyed in every lyric she sang instantly enchanted the audience. Laufey’s performance peaked as she performed hits like “Valentine,” “Beautiful Stranger,” and “Let You Break My Heart Again,” which were met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the fans.

Singing Promise accompanied by piano

One of the most touching moments was when Laufey sang “Promise” accompanied by piano, a song full of meaning that touched the hearts of everyone present. The atmosphere became more intimate when she performed “Piano” and “Like The Movies,” providing a moment of tranquility before continuing with a series of her fan-favorite songs.

Laufey showcased her prowess not only in vocals but also in playing various instruments. Her cello performance in the songs “Beautiful Stranger” and “I Wish You Love” added a unique and captivating dimension to her show, further mesmerizing the audience.

Laufey’s performance was not just about her musical talent. She also made a genuine connection with the audience, sharing the personal stories behind her songs and creating a warm, intimate atmosphere. “Beautiful country that far from where I grew up,” Laufey shared before performing the heartfelt song “Letter To My 13-Year-Old Self.” Her words of appreciation for Indonesia were met with cheers from the audience.

“It’s truly such a beautiful culture,” Laufey said about Indonesia before performing her final song. The show ended with her hit “From The Start,” leaving the audience even more dazzled. A special moment occurred when she invited her twin brother to join her on stage for the final performance, creating sweet memories that will be cherished by everyone present.
