Sarman explained, “APN will be the annual agenda that is aligned with President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo’s instruction in 2023, which stated that all government institutions, including ministries/agencies, regional government, SOEs, and Regional Owned Enterprises, are required to continue to enhancing the utilization of domestic products and services to meet their necessities through the government’s procurement process (PBJP).”
Sarman voiced that the source of PBJP’s budget comes from State Budget (APBN), regional budget (APBD), loan, and grant funds. In utilizing this budget, the institutions are obliged to adopt domestic products and services. “For this reason, the government strives to optimize the employment of products and services that have TKDN, a level that describes the percentage of domestic component adoption in products or services,” stated Sarman.
Apkasi, whose members are 416 regencies governments across Indonesia, declared support for maximizing TKDN product absorption to promote effectiveness and efficiency in the Government’s procurement process and also provided a positive impact on the economic growth in the archipelago. The real support is reflected in the organization of APN 2024.
In the workshop which adopted the theme “The Importance of TKDN certification in Regional Procurement Process”, Saman conveyed that the participants of APN 2024 will be businesses that have a great commitment to supporting the Enhancement of the Domestic Product Utilization (P3DN) program. “Through today’s workshop which was a series of APN event, we hope this can be a reminder about the importance of TKDN and be an event that supports private sectors to obtain TKDN certification thus their products and services can be absorbed optimally by the government.”
