Heaptalk, Jakarta – Krista Exhibitions, together with the Association of Indonesian Health Equipment and Laboratory Companies (GAKESLAB) announced to organize Indohealthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 on 31 July to 2 August 2024. Taking place at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, the international expo aims to showcase comprehensive innovation in health equipment, including the technology that is required by both the government health services unit and the private sector.
CEO of Krista Exhibitions, Daud D. Salim, stated, “Indohealthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 will be participated by 120 companies, including 10 MSMEs. The 14th expo will focus on organizing Business Matching and Business Networking, which specifically are designed to connect entrepreneurs and financial institutions to scholars/ researchers (B to Academy), entrepreneurs and end-users (B to Hospital/health care units), as well as entrepreneurs with distributor/importer/supplier.”
According to Daud, the business matching activity will enable private sectors to expand their businesses as well as open new investment opportunities in Indonesia. Through this enticing agenda, the expo is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors.
The Chairman of Gakeslab Indonesia Rd. Kartono Didjosewo revealed that the pandemic condition has increased society’s awareness of the importance of developing local products and transferring technology, particularly in the health sector, in order to enhance national health resilience.
He added, “Gakeslab and its members intend to build a sustainable health industry ecosystem which is supported by downstream and upstream industries. Gakeslab, together with Krista Exhibitions opted “National Forum to Build Resilient Ecosystem through Integrated Medical Devices From Downstream To Upstream In Indonesia” as the theme of this expo 2024 to demonstrate its support to the Ministry of Health in transforming the national health resilient system.
In its implementation, Indohealthcare Gakeslab Expo will organize FGD with the following topics:
- Building national independence and resilience in the health equipment industry from downstream to upstream.
- Enhance primary health services and references in the national health guarantee era, as well as access to innovative health equipment.
- Quality assurance of health equipment in the pre-market and post-market stage
- Enhance collaboration potency in medical devices industry to support the national independence and resilience.
