Heaptalk, Jakarta – The Indonesia International Automotive Parts, Accessories and Equipment Exhibition (INAPA) 2025 is set to take place from May 21 to 23 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. As one of the largest B2B automotive industry exhibitions in Southeast Asia, the event is expected to attract more than 45,000 visitors from over 60 countries.
Baki Lee, President Director of GEM Indonesia as the organizer of the event, stated that despite global economic uncertainties and tighter government spending, Indonesia remains a promising market for the automotive industry. While the number of exhibitors is projected to decline from 2,000 to 1,500, there has been a 10% increase in participation from the car accessories sector.
“Demand is tremendous, but local production is still not sufficient to meet the needs of the domestic market. Through this exhibition, we hope many foreign investors will recognize the potential and invest in Indonesia,” said Baki Lee during a press conference at Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta, on May 8.
He further emphasized, “Indonesia has the largest market in Southeast Asia, particularly for automotive spare parts. We hope that by participating in INAPA 2025, international exhibitors will consider localizing their components and investing in domestic production.”
INAPA 2025 will be held alongside several co-located events, including INABIKE, INAFASTENER, Tyre & Rubber Indonesia, Lube Indonesia, and EV & Charging Indonesia, as well as Transport & Logistics Indonesia, Forklift Indonesia, BusTruck Southeast Asia, and CON-MINE.
With participation from over 1,500 exhibitors from countries such as China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and South Korea, the exhibition showcases strong international interest. Around 30% of participating companies are Indonesian, primarily acting as distributors, while only 1%–2% are local manufacturers producing their own products.
The three-day event aims to boost the sector’s performance by connecting exhibitors with potential buyers and investors. To support this, GEM Indonesia, in collaboration with ASKARINDO and KAMSELINDO, will host forums and seminars where local and international stakeholders can share perspectives and market insights.
Additionally, the event will feature the Forklift Indonesia Competition, where 40 to 50 participants from various companies will demonstrate their forklift driving skills in a showcase of talent and precision.
