Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Indonesia International Automotive Parts, Accessories, and Equipment Exhibition (Inapa) 2025 officially opened on May 21. Organized by Global Expo Management (GEM Indonesia), the event aims to contribute to the government’s vision of achieving Golden Indonesia 2045, particularly in the automotive, transportation, and logistics industries.

Over 1,500 global exhibitors will showcase their best products during the three-day event (May 21–23) at JIExpo Kemayoran, North Jakarta. Prominent companies in attendance include New Armada, Shell, Selamat Sempurna (ADR Group), Traktor Nusantara, Berca Mandiri Perkasa, Heli Forklift, Hancha Indonesia, Kawan Lama (Krisbow), LiuGong Indonesia, Ascendo, Lakoni, Daifuku, and Lion Metal. The exhibition targets more than 45,000 visitors over the three days.

In his opening remarks, Aan Suhanan, Director General of Land Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, emphasized the importance of this forum in uniting all land transportation stakeholders, including those focused on transportation safety. Aan revealed that most accidents today are caused by human error.

“If we break it down further, human error has many contributing factors, including the lack of safety-supporting technology, especially for monitoring drivers on the road. If airplanes have black boxes that record all cockpit conversations and activities, I believe the same can be applied on the ground. We can adopt this technology, and with the current electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, it could become a tool to enhance road traffic safety,” Aan stated during the Inapa 2025 opening ceremony at Hall D2, JIExpo Kemayoran, North Jakarta (05/21).

Baki Lee, President Director of GEM Indonesia, highlighted that the event aims to position Indonesia as a leader in ASEAN’s automotive sector. “This exhibition allows us to recognize and take pride in Indonesia’s continuous progress in the market. We hope this event will bring added value to our exhibitors, enabling them to expand their market reach—not just in Indonesia but across Southeast Asia and beyond,” said Baki Lee at the Inapa 2025 opening ceremony (05/21).

Inapa 2025 is held in conjunction with Inabike, Inafastener, Tyre & Rubber Indonesia, Lube Indonesia, and EV & Charging Indonesia. Supporting events include Transport & Logistics Indonesia, Forklift Indonesia, BusTruck Southeast Asia, and Con-Mine.
