Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) Vol.3 is poised to return on October 2nd – 6th, 2024, in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
This third edition of Inacraft will further strengthen the Youthpreneurs concept as a form of Indonesia’s Handicraft Exporters and Manufacturers Association (ASEPHI) custody to the rising generation working in the crafts, arts, and culture sector by providing a place to achieve more tremendous market opportunities. Hence, the third Inacraft on October Vol.3 returns will adopt ‘Youthpreneurs, Make It At Market’ with the tagline ‘Totally Different.’
ASEPHI hopes to simplify local and international buyers to discover quality products in the exhibition area. For this reason, participants will undergo rigorous product curation processes, and zone divisions will be based on product type. Besides providing product zoning, the organizer will enliven this handicraft exhibition with supporting programs tailored to Gen Z, who want to explore the craft, arts, and culture industry and expand their business and market networks.
ASEPHI opened registration for Youthpreneur Calling Tenants as part of its pre-event agenda. Young artisants who have passed the curation process will obtain a free display area to showcase their products in the Main Lobby. This association also noted the registered youthpreneur curation had reached 200 candidates, with 183 candidates meeting the requirement. The curator team has selected 8 Youthpreneurs with an additional 3 Youthpreneurs recommended as Pop Culture Youthpreneurs.
The third Inacraft, will occupy the entire JCC area, targeting 815 participants, both individuals and ASEPHI members. Meanwhile, government entities, including Departments/Ministries/SOE, are targeted to reach 120 participants. By involving multiple handicraft exhibitors, Inacraft Vol.3 aims to attract about 100,000 visitors for five days of the event.
During the agenda, Inacraft Vol.3 will feature around 23 islands with one icon, and an Inacraft Talam stand with 74 participants. With the outstanding concept and product featured, this handicraft expo is expected to obtain transactions of up to US$9.2 million (around Rp150 billion), with the targeted trade agreement worth US$1.2 million.
