Heaptalk, Jakarta — Dyandra Promosindo will hold the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023 on February 16–26 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Carrying the theme Bringing Opportunity for Automotive Society Together (BOOST), this exhibition is a meeting place for business people, communities, and consumers as well as becomes a new ecosystem chain for the Indonesian automotive industry.

Through IIMS 2023, organizers invite automotive industry players to innovate and contribute to the growth of the industry in Indonesia. Further, IIMS is expected to provide the opportunity for all automotive players to manifest creative ideas aligned with their businesses.

“IIMS has become an automotive event that should be looked forward to, not just as an exhibition, but also a new ecosystem chain from the integrated automotive industry, business people, communities, and society,” said Dyandra Promosindo President Director Daswar Marpaung at the IIMS 2023 final kickoff event in Jakarta (02/02).

This annual automotive exhibition will be enlivened by more than 150 exhibitors consisting of more than 40 two-wheeled and four-wheeled automotive brands as well as 100 other exhibitors and the automotive community. Several prominent brands that will be present in Hall A are Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Esemka, Morris Garage (MG), Mobbi, Indomobil Group, DFSK, and Pertamina.

Presenting a pool to display boats and yachts

The highlight of IIMS 2023 is the expansion of automotive membership to boating and marine exhibitions by preparing a pool to accommodate boats, yachts, and other equipment. Daswar said, “We are ready to present in Hall B3 and C3, we will make a real pond to put marine and boats into the pool.”

One of the attractive programs at IIMS 2023 is the Indonesia Boating Gathering, a collaboration of the Community for Maritime Studies Indonesia (CMSI) Foundation and Dyandra Promosindo. The program will feature Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI), F1 PowerBoat, Gladiator SUP Indonesia, J Seven Outdoor kayaks and fishing equipment, and many more.

Further, Daswar said that his party was optimistic to bring in 400,000 visitors with a total transaction of IDR 3.8 trillion or US$ 255 million (US$ 1 worth IDR 14,898) during the eleven days of the event. To attract visitors, the organizers presented the IIMS track, which is a dedicated track for test drives and test rides covering an area of 571 m2. In addition, this exhibition also presents a sky bridge that connects the motor and car exhibition areas.

Daswar said, “The latest one, IIMS will present a wider range of auto-tainment combining music concerts, IIMS tracks, and IIMS sky bridge as icons this year. The IIMS festivities are even more complete, certainly, with special music performances through IIMS Infinite Live with a line-up of well-known artists and musicians spanning Ari Lasso, Dewa19, God Bless, JKT48, Project Pop Orchestra, and others.”

In addition, Dyandra Promosindo also expanded the exhibitions through the IIMS Series which will be present in two cities, namely IIMS Surabaya from May 31 to June 4, 2023, at the Grand City Convex and IIMS Makassar from October 4 to 8, 2023 at the Celebes Convention Center.

“Hopefully the IIMS 2023 automotive exhibition will have a multiplier impact on the growth of the MICE industry, the automotive industry, which is aligned with national economic growth,” concluded Daswar.
