Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia Catalogue Expo and Forum (ICEF) 2024 is poised to return for three days, from May 29th to 31st, 2024, at JiExpo Kemayoran Hall B1 – B2, Jakarta.

Hosted by Policy Institution for Procurement of Government Goods (LKPP) and Indonesia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), this expo aims to attract entrepreneurs from multiple types of goods and services and boost domestic product utilization. Organizers also hope this agenda could become a forum for e-catalog socialization so local entrepreneurs can deepen their comprehension of the e-catalog system.

“This exhibition is also an opportunity for producers who want to meet development needs in IKN,” the organizer said.

The expo will present attractive programs, spanning business meetings, an exhibition for the procurement of goods and services, a seminar, e-catalog socialization version 6, a talk show, and product presentations. With these enticing programs, around 50 spokespersons are expected to participate in the agenda to spread their insightful knowledge. This year’s ICEF 2024 expo aims to attract over 15,000 visitors and showcase over 150 exhibitors.

As is known, the Indonesia Catalog Expo & Forum is an exhibition that operates in the procurement of government goods and services. In line with Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2022, “Accelerating the use of domestic products and products of micro-businesses, small businesses, and cooperatives to make the national movement proud to be made in Indonesia a success in implementing Government Goods/Services Procurement.”

Last year’s exhibition, ICEF 2023, attracted more than 7,793 visitors from diverse realms, such as Procurement Officers (PP), Goods/Services Procurement Managers, Goods/Services Procurement Work Units (UKPBJ), Budget Users (PA), Budget Users Proxy (KPA), and Commitment Making Officials (PPK).

Based on last year’s data, ICEF 2023 recorded five top commodities with the highest order value in the procurement of goods and services, including:

  1. Road preservation in the Bina Marga sector worth US$100 million
  2. Health facilities amounting to US$581 million
  3. Medicine for health insurance program at US$475 million
  4. Electronic, IT, and supporting equipment worth US$462 million
  5. Motor vehicle worth US$425 million
