Heaptalk, Jakarta — To strengthen the global halal industry, Dyandra Promosindo, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, is organizing the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo (Halal Indo) 2024 from September 26 to 29 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Opening the agenda, Eko S.A. Cahyanto, Secretary General of Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry, stated that the Halal Indo 2024 expo is essential in promoting and encouraging innovation in local halal products. Additionally, this event aims to reinforce Indonesia’s position as a global center for the halal industry.
“The Ministry of Industry welcomes the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo 2024. This expo is expected to raise public awareness about halal products and enhance the competitiveness of the national halal industry in the international market,” Eko explained.

The Ministry of Industry is enthusiastic about promoting halal issues through this industrial festival, targeting the younger generation, communities, and anyone interested in developing Indonesia’s halal industry. Eko also stated, “The government is committed to fully supporting initiatives that drive the growth of the halal industry through appropriate policies and programs, one of which is requiring halal certification for products.”
Meanwhile, Addy Damarwulan, Project Director of the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo 2024, said this event is a significant platform for halal producers and industry players to showcase their products and establish strategic business connections. The event connects the global halal industry and features other interesting agendas such as business matching, business forums, talk shows, and halal consultations. Halal Indo 2024 is expected to be a means to maximize the potential of Indonesia’s halal industry on a global scale. Furthermore, the growth of the halal industry can also serve as a potential driver for Indonesia’s economic development.
