Heaptalk, Jakarta — The BFSI IT Summit Indonesia, an event in the calendar of technology and innovation leaders within the Indonesian banking, financial service, and insurance (BFSI) sector, returned on May 16, 2024. The summit, adopting the theme of Transforming Tomorrow: Embracing the Digital Revolution in Indonesia, provided a platform for in-person meetings exclusively tailored for these leaders.
The forum, which took place at JW Marriott Hotel Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, was organized by Exito Media Concepts in partnership with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Jakarta and the Indonesian Digital Leaders Association (APDI). The event successfully gathered more than 120 industry experts, including CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, heads of digital transformation, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ICT, and other IT experts from the banking and financial service domain.
The 22nd BFSI IT Summit Indonesia was designed to serve as a learning and networking hub, dissecting pressing challenges in the sector and identifying actionable strategies for overcoming them. The agenda discovered policies and tactics to foster a dynamic and resilient financial landscape. Several crucial topics were discussed, spanning digital banking, financial inclusion, digital payments, and data privacy and protection, aiming to extract insights and best practices.
Advancing financial inclusion

The organizer further explained that these initiatives included the development of a mobile banking app, providing customers with seamless access to a wide range of banking services, from fund transfers to account management, all at their fingertips. Leveraging data analytics and AI insights, personalized financial technologies were tailored to meet the diverse needs of customer segments, including micro-loans for small businesses and micro-insurance products for low-income individuals. These kinds of insights and best practices were shared in this summit.
