Heaptalk, Jakarta — Dyandra Promosindo, with support from the Ministry of Industry, will hold the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo (Halal Indo) 2025 from September 25 to 28 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD City, Tangerang.
Halal Indo is a comprehensive exhibition featuring business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) concepts. The event will showcase a broad spectrum of the halal industry, including halal food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products, Muslim fashion, ceramics and tableware, textiles and clothing, and Muslim-friendly tourism.
Faisol Riza, Deputy Minister of Industry, stated that the halal industry has become a new source of global economic growth. Given that Indonesia has the world’s largest Muslim population, Faisol said the country has enormous potential to become a major player in the global halal ecosystem. “Through Halal Indo, we aim not only to present an exhibition, but also to create momentum for transforming the national halal industry onto the international stage. Let us make Indonesia a major force in the global halal industry value chain,” Faisol said at the launch of Halal Indo 2025 at the Ministry of Industry (04/29).

Targeting over 15,000 visitors
This year, with the theme ‘Where Halal Meets the World,’ Halal Indo 2025 is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors from both domestic and international markets, up from around 12,000 the previous year. The expo will bring together various stakeholders from the halal industry, including producers, buyers, regulators, associations, MSMEs, and investors from more than 20 countries, aiming to strengthen the halal ecosystem from upstream to downstream.
Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, expressed his optimism about this year’s event. By presenting engaging programs such as business forums, talk show sessions, and halal consultation services, Halal Indo 2025 is expected to foster a sustainable and competitive halal industry ecosystem in Indonesia.

“We believe Halal Indo 2025 will be a strong catalyst for maximizing the potential of Indonesia’s halal industry on the global stage. We hope this expo will set a quality benchmark for the halal industry chain in Asia and act as a bridge connecting halal industry players to global markets. Furthermore, synergy with the Halal Expo Circle held in other countries, such as the Japan International Food & Beverage Expo and the Malaysia International Halal Showcase, will further strengthen Indonesia’s position on the global halal industry map,” concluded Daswar.
