Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Annual Report Award (ARA) is returning in 2025 to evaluate corporate annual reports for the 2024 fiscal year. Organized by the National Committee for Governance Policy (KNKG) in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), the Directorate General of Taxes, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants, the ARA 2025 recognizes excellence in corporate reporting.
“As a prestigious platform for Indonesian companies, ARA 2025 serves as a stage for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in achieving sustainable growth,” said Mardiasmo, Chairman of KNKG’s Board of Trustees, in a press release on Thursday (05/08).
The competition is open to all companies, with registration from May 5 to 30, 2025. Winners will be announced across multiple categories, including the Grand Champion Award. Aligning with ARA’s sustainability-focused messaging over the past two years, this year’s theme is ‘Leading with Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability: The Path to a Sustainable Future’—reinforcing the importance of strong corporate governance as the foundation for long-term sustainability.
Meanwhile, Agus Fatoni, Director General of Regional Financial Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, emphasized that regionally owned enterprises’ (BUMD) participation in ARA reflects their confidence and commitment to progress. “This encourages healthy competition and elevates standards through objective evaluation,” he stated.
Rohan Hafas, Managing Director of Stakeholders Management at BPI Danantara, said his firm would advocate for all state-owned enterprises to pursue excellence in annual reporting. “Reports should not just meet regulatory requirements but also embody a company’s core values,” he concluded.
