The local government also expects to produce human resources with the advanced capabilities and skills to support an electronic-based government system (SPBE). As affirmed by the Expert Staff of the Legal Advocacy Society and Human Rights Secretariat Cabinet of the East Kutai, Roma Malau, representing the East Kutai Regent, Ardiansyah Sulaiman (11/10), emphasized the archives are information documentation that must be adequately managed, expecting to be developed by the OPD agency.
“This point is an essential element as part of the mandatory indicators to be fulfilled and carried out, namely the HR admin of the OPD and the note taker. I believe this system can speed up the integrated archiving process to be completed,” explained Roma.
The SRIKANDI application as a general system for government institutions is a form of archival reinforcement to optimize and protect the community’s data. “Realizing the significance of SRIKANDI application technical guidance, we expect the participants can take the entire part of this activity,” Roma said.
Concurrently, the Head of the East Kutai Discipline Archiving Development Division, Yayu Eka Sari, also claimed this information system application is part of Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018, whereby the regulation is implemented as one of the general applications that have been set by the Ministry of Communication and Information and are developed by ANRI, aiming to fulfill the letter making requisites and electronic archives, which has been integrated.
“We initiated this SRIKANDI technical guidance to synergize while realizing the government bureaucratic reform to be more efficient. Thus, the OPD and note-taker team can accelerate the official archives aligned with the target in determining the decisions appropriately,” affirmed Yayu.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Regional Archive Management Group Region 1 of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Sri Wulandari, elaborated SRIKANDI system is believed to record digital and analog-based information efficiently to become accountability evidence and the nation’s collective memory. Thus, she suggested that archival matters are expected to adjust to the current digital transformation, one of which is the SPBE implementation.
“We are demanded to perform the transformation rapidly to penetrate this disruptive era. This action is a leap in the SPBE archive,” Sri said in her statement.
On the other hand, this application integrates digital-based institutional dynamic archive management through the SIKD application and nationally at ministries, institutions, and local governments. According to her statement, archive management needs skillful archivists, proved by the competency and certification assessment.
“The SRIKANDI application system has been enforced nationally and has obtained the full support of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform,” concluded Sri Wulandari.
