Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Generasi Paham Investasi officially released its mutual fund trading platform, Ayovest. The platform’s launch will target the rising Indonesian generation and is expected to facilitate their mutual fund trading.

The company perceived that mutual fund investment remains the most popular investment preference among domestic capital market investors. As Indonesia’s Central Securities Depository (KSEI) reported, the geometric average growth rate of the capital market (49.68%), stocks (43.88%), and government bonds (SBN) (38.71%).

Furthermore, the data discovered that the number of investors has grown significantly, attaining 12,3 million mutual fund investors as of June 2024. This outcome exceeds the stock number of about 5.7 million and SBN around 1.10 million investors. Regarding demographics, KSEI data revealed that Indonesia’s capital market investors are still predominantly millennials and Gen Z, with those under 30 making up the majority.

According to the Director of Ayovest, Sonny Afriansyah delivered that the platform launch is expected to reach about 10,000 users in a year ahead; he claimed that the target is higher than the average user owned by other mutual fund sales agents.

Ayovest provides multiple features to assist users in investing on the platform, consisting of the following:

  1. The Investment Calculator is a feature that helps users calculate potential investment returns based on a predetermined risk profile and financial goals.
  2. Risk Profile is a guidance feature that equips a personal review of the level of risk that can be tolerated in investing.
  3. Financial Checkup is a service that helps users evaluate their financial condition following the assets and cash flow they have.

Besides, Ayovest presents multiple other benefits, such as free fees for all transactions, investments that can be made with capital starting from Rp10,000, flexible withdrawal investment funds without any fees, and tax-free. Obtaining an Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) license, Ayovest will continue to simplify mutual fund investment trading for Indonesia’s investors through the other additional features plan, such as Investment Advisory service and other investment instruments, including stocks and bonds.
