Ministries formulate priority services for education and health in GovTech

Heaptalk, Jakarta — To speed up the launch of GovTech, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB), together with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemenbudristek), held a meeting to formulate the priority services which will be integrated into GovTech.

“Today’s meeting is our effort to synergize and accelerate the integration, discussing what services which will be integrated into Public Services Portal (GovTech),” stated the Assistant Deputy of Digital Transformation Services PAN-RB Yanuar Ahmad (01/29).

Yanuar added that the portal’s framework for GovTech should employ three aspects, spanning access to society, services, and support. In integrating services, Yanuar also delivered that ministries should consider some criteria, including the aim of the services, business process and framework, the real condition and apps infrastructure, data and information, as well as security. These criteria are related to the security standard and app test.

“Today’s discussion with the Ministry of Health and Kemenbudristek is to inventory the kind of services that will be integrated into the Public Services Portal. Besides, we will conduct deep identification about the services when it is integrated,” stated Yanuar.

For information, Public Services Portal contains in President Instruction No 82 Year 2023 concerning the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and National Integrated Digital Services. On various occasions, PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas confirmed that the government is building government technology (GovTech), which integrated nine priority services.

The services include online drive license, population-based-ID services, One Data Indonesia, social assistance, financial transactions, services portal integration, state apparatus services, health services, and education services. This super app will be run under Indonesia’s Money-printing Public Corporation’s (PERURI) authority.

“Public Services Portal can be utilized by the government to provide easy access for society in reaching government services. Moreover, the presence of this portal also adopts lifetime services; thus, we hope people can obtain services, since they are born until they pass away through one app with effective and efficient,” concluded Yanuar.
